How to fill in the construction capability statement template
- Lead the header with license, bonding, and safety. Put your contractor license numbers, bonding capacity, and EMR near the top - the first facts a construction buyer or GC checks.
- Write core competencies as delivery methods and trades. List the construction you self-perform and the delivery methods you offer with typical project value ranges a buyer can match to their project.

- Bonding capacity - can you bond a project this size? A statement without it forces a follow-up email.
